เมื่อวันที่ 16 มกราคม 2555 ทางมูลนิธิบ้านเพื่อชีวิต นำทีมโดยเด็กจากมูลนิธิเจ้าของโครงการ "แบ่งปันเบเกอรี่เพื่อผู้ป่วยยากไร้ในโรงพยาบาลชุมชน" เพื่อได้นำเอาขนมที่เด็กๆทำไปแจกจ่ายแก่ผู้ที่เป็นผู้ป่วยยากไร้ และไม่มีญาติ

ซึ่งได้สร้างความประทับใจให้กับผู้ป่วยเหล่านั้นเป็นอย่างมาก

When we was a child. Everyone must have an experience of Christmas gift, which every child has been waiting and and wish for there gift. And be very happy with it.

Same as the children from Home & Life for Christmas and New year that will coming, they also wish with their hope for someone to fulfill them Hope. Just one only gift for the small child to gain up the smile and willing them for fighting they living.

They wish also the same thing as every children in the world to just have a chance to waiting with hearth trembling and wondering what it's could be in the box. Or waiting with full of his wishes for wonder if any one will give them gift.

Let's shared together, you can do the same good things everyday, but not everyday can be special. Let's be the part to shared the smile and fulfill a small wishes, Together

Every family will always found the same problem with their children school socks and sneakers, but how many children in their family.

With over 28 children in our family once we have to buy the new school socks and sneakers it must do all in one time. But how we can do it with 28 pairs of socks and sneakers in one time??

We need help!! we are offering your help by asking your donation for your second hand school sneakers and school socks (or new if it possible) to help them walk through the people with confident and fully smiles.

First performer is Sea with two Song performing,

The second show is "Deng" mean bounce. This song Sea has show her real charm and dancing talent very well

They are really beautiful

Not just only our girl that can dance also our Peter with his charming on the dance floor, he movement is so magnificent.

Swimming in Summer

Home & Life is situated close to the waterand our children here love to swim!

We are asking for help to pay for the children to take swimming lesson so we can insure their safety while they play and swim!

There are currently 26 children here and cost of each child to attend the lesson is 2000 THB each, which also includes costumes and trasportation to and from the swimming class.

We would appreciate any donations. You are willing to offer to help us further improve the children's happiness and well being

Several things happened in Home&Life.We aim that will be running the good things and create usefulness for our kids and also the social around us.

Every Monday ,Wednesday and Friday a week “Thai Dancing and Cultures”

skillful by Kate who is second mum in Home&Life .We already have lessons since first of January 2009 and still keep going on.With most interesting that children of us and also children in the village come to participate in this program by good comment with their parent .This not just the kids will get useful purpose which who become to our volunteer they will be in chances.

Every Tuesday a week “English Lesson” with our lovely uncle Loong Ken always come with lovely teacher volunteers. All kids at less 25 very love to learn in happiness and wish will be able understanding and speaking English.

Every Thursday a week they will enjoy with “ Easy Bakery and Cooking with Papa Root” .

Easy learning how to do and touch kind of sweetie bakery and Cooking Thai food applied. In hope just chair them get skillful and how to easy cook with fun.

Every Holiday “Funny Art and Excursion trip” With Mum Rasa who will take care their free time. Art ting ,Paint, Card ,Beach, Waterfall, Out door Open eyes etc. Most ideas by vote of them.

Every Saturday “Holiday Marketing” At Bangneang Market we learning of Marking Trade ,Earning , Shopping ,etc. And also solution the reality troubles and practice them self.

For all of activities that happening and organize with our small donation which extra from donors .But we will save and continues for long term also development by sponsor ship which we looking for some one who can support us of those programs by weekly cost is 3,000 THB!!.

Home's "Bakery Hut"

Home & Life's bakery is off to a good start and now every week on Saturday we go to sell our cookies and banana cupcakes.

We also have one more kind of baked item we are selling. It is "Bread Bun" made with whole grains and is perfectly sweet.

Every week we will bring it to the market for sale. Some weeks we have some left over and so we enjoy them ourselves for breakfast on Sunday mornings with milk which is a very good meal and kids Love it such as "Hamburger".

Not only do we bake for the market but we are learning to make pies and cakes and etc. so on.

Eventually we would like to open our "Bakery hut " that can serve the goods made by our bakery and drinks for guest who come. This is a way can we generate income by ourself and save our home. Our aim is to become more self-sufficient.

So we welcome everyone!! to come to our house & our "Bakery hut" with warmth and happiness.

How to launch your Lantern

Using the wire, attach the torch in the centre of the open end of lantern. Make sure all 4 points are secure.

Spread out the lantern and check for holes. A couple of small ones don't matter, it will still fly.

Hold the lantern around the middle and hold a flame to the torch until it lights.

Hold the lantern upright and allow it to fill with hot air from the flame.

As it starts to rise, hold your lantern steady and let go!

Packaging for Lanterns to sell at the local market

We have been thinking of ways to package our lanterns so that we can begin to sell them at our local market, Bang Niang.

The children had a lot of fun thinking of exciting ways.

The best way we found was with recycled paper.

The children loved to show off their own individual ideas for decorating the bags.

They learnt alot about how recycling can help save the earth. It is important to us to teach the children about these things.

Next we will improve our ideas and try some different ways to package.

Beginning

November 2008. We started thinking this month of something that we could all make and sell to generate income for our family.

After a great deal of experimentation (which was lots of fun!) we decided that we could successfully make this good quality lantern.

It can fly!!! Everyone who watches it is astonished to see it rise up into the sky and it gives us all hope!

Hope

We are now very excited as we can all get involved with this new project. Our activities room turns into a small factory for 2 hours every night after school as many hands carefully put together at least 10 lanterns in many colours. We are now looking for sales opportunities and hoping that the orders come in so that our small business can get off of the ground!!!!!

We would love to hear some ideas of how and where to sell our gorgeous lanterns as we want to get small business up and running as soon as possible. The income will help feed, clothe and school our children at Home and Life.

This is an urgent message to all friends of Home and Life Orphanage as this family of 20 children needs your help! We urgently need a sponsor to start covering the cost of rice for this every month. CAN YOU HELP??

We had a reliable sponsor, Wat Khun Shee in Phuket, but unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances we are not able to rely on their help every month.

We are therefore desperately seeking a sponsor!!! Every month we need 3 bags of rice costing up to 3000 THB (about 66 euros) or if you like you could come and bring the rice us directly.

Dear visitors and supporters of Home and Life,
One of the development ideas for our kids is called "Learning their world". The first activity and appeal we are running is for some of our kids: "Nong Boo, Nong Nahm, Nong Sun, Nong Kob", all of whom are keen artists, and often tell me that they would like to pursue this as a profession. I am always quick to encourage them, as all are very skilled, and always happy and content when they have some colours and a brush in their hands. Bo is particularly keen on still life and landscapes - Bananas and Palm trees are a favourite!! Nahm spends hours copying and creating her own cartoon images which brighten up our walls.

I would like to invite you to participate, as they desperately need materials so that they can fulfill there dreams.
So, if you have any old art equipment or materials, such as Boards, Paint, Brushes, Paper, Easels, coloured Pens or Crayons etc. or anything that would be helpful for a young artist, please contact me. Alternatively, you could make a donation to help us buy supplies. Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

Twenty children. Twenty tiny lives.
Twenty terrible stories of death in the tsunami, illness, poverty and families being torn apart.
Twenty opportunities to do something to rebuild those lives.

I would like to introduce you to Home and Life. We are a project in Phang-Nga province, Thailand which was founded by Bhudit ("Root") and his wife Rasa and who now run it as 'father and mother'. They take care of local children who are tsunami victims, orphans, poor children and children who were forced to leave their homes.
The children who came to call it home arrived for many reasons – but they all had one thing in common: a desperate need.

At Home & Life, we look after twenty children. We provide for them and improve their lives.
Our concept is "family" and we live together like a real family. We share a small place, just 1 rai.
The challenges that we meet daily are overshadowed by the love and trust that our beautiful family has in abundance! We care for all aspects of these children's lives and have no doubts that they will grow to each be strong, caring, well rounded individuals.

We are, at present, living on kind donations from various organisations and people. Our expenses are high and sometimes it can be a real struggle to put food on the table every night for 20 hungry little mouths! It is hard to live so precariously on these donations.

We hope you can help us. To continue this project we still need help - such as money to buy our land for the children (we presently pay monthly rent) and the provision of necessary items for the children’s everyday living, such as those on our "The Wish List".

Our aims are to become self sustainable in the future and for the children to have a huge part in making this happen. We have evening classes for the children most nights in English, dance, handicrafts and baking pastries. We hope to begin producing items to sell in the very near future but to do this, we need the funds for materials and tools. We are learning and growing every day and with your support, we can become independent.

We have homestays for volunteers who want to come and meet the children. You could teach a skill or help with one of the ongoing projects. Or you could even drop in for the day and have a cold orange juice and some delicious food at our little shop.
